Dr. Michael J. Davidson

Dr. Davidson is a life long resident of Northern Virginia. He attended the University of Virginia, graduating in 1973 with a B.S. degree.

In 1978, he graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. The following year he opened his practice in Springfield and has been here ever since.

Dr. Davidson specializes in all types of contact lenses. He is married and has one son. His hobbies include golf and reading.

Dr. Ender A. Adam

Dr. Adam has lived in northern Virginia most of his life. He attended the University of Maryland, graduating in 1988 with a B.S. degree.

He received his O.D. degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis in 1992. Dr. Adam then returned to the area, and has practiced with Dr. Davidson ever since.

Dr. Adam specializes in all types of contact lenses and medical eye care. He also served as an advisor to the largest LASIK vision correction practice in the metropolitan area. His hobbies include working out, golf and basketball. He is married and has 2 children.

Dr. George F. Brown

Dr. Brown, a native of New Hampshire, received a B.S. degree from the University of Vermont in 1977.

He graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia and served in the United States Army as an Optometrist at Fort Belvoir. He and Dr. Davidson have practiced together since 1984. Dr. Brown specializes in all types of contact lenses and medical eye care.

He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Virginia Optometric Association, and is Past President of the Virginia Optometric Association. He has two sons, Christopher and Kevin. His hobbies include cooking and golf.

Dr. Sophia Mufti

Dr. Mufti is a dedicated optometrist committed to providing personalized, high-quality eye care to patients of all ages. A long-time resident of Northern Virginia, she has been part of the local community since her early high school years.

Dr. Mufti earned her undergraduate degree from Albert Dorman Honors College at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where she built a strong academic foundation in the sciences and discovered her passion for healthcare. She continued her education at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree with comprehensive training in primary eye care and ocular disease management.

She offers a full range of optometric services, including comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and the diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. Dr. Mufti is known for her compassionate approach, attention to detail, and dedication to helping patients maintain lifelong eye health.

Outside of her professional work, Dr. Mufti enjoys reading, exploring new destinations, and staying engaged with her community.

Dr. Rema Idriss

Dr. Rema Idriss earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and Chemistry from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She then moved to Chicago to pursue her passion for eye care, completing her Doctor of Optometry degree at Midwestern University. To further enhance her expertise in leadership, she obtained an MBA from WGU with a focus on healthcare management and business law.

Dr. Idriss is highly experienced in treating anterior segment disease and managing myopia. She provides care for a wide range of conditions, including keratoconus, pellucid marginal degeneration (PMD), eye infections, and other corneal disorders. She has a particular passion for orthokeratology (Ortho-K), an advanced, non-surgical technique that gently reshapes the cornea overnight to slow the progression of nearsightedness in children.

Recognized for her excellence in both clinical care and leadership, Dr. Idriss has received numerous awards, including the VSP Practice/Clinical Excellence Award.

Outside of her profession, Dr. Idriss enjoys swimming, reading, taking long walks, and spending time with family and friends. She has a deep love for travel and cultural exploration, having visited 45 states and numerous countries—with many more on her list.

Above all, Dr. Idriss is passionate about building lasting connections with her patients and finds great joy in preserving and enhancing their vision. Her mission is simple yet profound: to change lives—one pair of eyes at a time.
